---What to Expect

Rocky Mount Bible Church is an evangelical, nondenominational community of believers in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. In our gatherings, you won’t find us focusing on politics or the news. What you will find is a church that emphasizes the teaching and preaching of God’s word, the Bible. We sing songs together-old and new- that are theologically accurate, joyful, and singable. Out of every dollar given to our operating budget, 20% goes directly to support Gospel work here in the U.S. and around the world. We are a family-oriented church with a place for all ages- children through senior adults. We invite you to come and worship with us!

---Frequently Asked Questions

1. What is the atmosphere of your church?

We have a relaxed yet worshipful atmosphere.

2. What should I wear to your church?

Many people come in business-casual clothing or dressy-casual jeans. Feel free to wear whatever is comfortable.

3. What should I bring to church?

A Bible if you have one. If you don’t have one, we are happy to give you one. Just ask!

4. What Bible translation does RMBC use?

Our pastor preaches from the English Standard Version (ESV) Bible. Attendees are welcome to bring any translation they choose.

5. Do you have a nursery for my infants and toddlers?

We have a staffed nursery for infants and toddlers, which is available during Sunday School and the Worship Service. To help protect our children, all of our nursery and children’s workers undergo background checks and are trained in our security policies.

6. Do you have a Sunday School program/Children’s Church for my children?

We have Sunday School classes for all ages, infant through adults. Children are welcome in our worship service, and children’s worship notes and crayons are available in the back of the auditorium during the service.

7. Do I need to bring money?

No. While giving is an important event for the members of our church, it is neither expected nor encouraged for visitors. We are here to minister to you and not to ask you to contribute to our general fund.
